Brown Varsity Competition Squad

At Highlands, coached by Virginia Heasley and Sharon Conway, the Golden Rams recently walked away with a great honor.

"The competition squad competed at the PNC Pirate Sports Series AmeriCheer Competition on August 27, where," Heasley says, "they placed first in their division and were the Grand Champion of the entire competition, entitling them to receive the trophies on Home Plate, and qualifying them for Nationals in Orlando in March."

The cheer squad and the competition squad--the Rams split competition and event cheering between the two--became a part of history: the cheerleaders were involved in the Pittsburgh Mills Grand Opening.
